Parque nacional Phu Toei
It was a great weekend. We spent the first two nights at PT sub unit 1, where they cooked and treated us as kings. We walked to Khao Son Pine tree forest, which was amazing this time of the year. It was also nice to swim in the river with the kids. Mee Noi Yoy Raya cave was hard because of King Cobras born this month. We couldn't have a conversation on Shakespeare, but basic Thai, English and body language was enough to enjoy the situation.
We then moved to PT HQ. It is a fantastic place with great facilities, including a huge camping area. There we met Ranger Joe, who could speak english and volunteered to show us TaPern Kee Yai waterfall, in the way to Ta Pern Kee Kharen village. Dad took Mateo in his backpack and
enjoyed hiking in the jungle. We could see Thewada peak, 1100mts, in the clouds.
In the way back, we swam in Kraseaw Dam. We missed a four hours trekking to Ta Pern Kee Yai waterfall, which we may do in the next months.
